Beth Green met Jesus in 1973 and was forever changed! She grew up in a parsonage, married a minister and found out that being a minister’s daughter and a minister’s wife are very much alike – and worlds apart. Since their marriage in 1974, Beth has worked with her husband, Joe, as he has served United Methodist churches in the Holston Conference. They are in their 15th year at Alcoa First UMC, and are the parents of a daughter, Hannah Beth, who lives in Alcoa with her husband, James Slaughter. In 1979, she began her work in the broadcasting field and spent the majority of her career as a morning radio personality in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Beth served eight years as the Director of Music Ministries in her church and is a worship leader for conferences, youth camps and retreats. Beth also teaches organization seminars. Her favorite pastime is sewing.
